By the Power of Grayskull, Adam sets out on a mission to reclaim the mantle of He-Man in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the first volume in this breath-taking graphic novel series. Summary of the Book Adam is an ordinary wood-cutter living in a small hut in Eternia. Ordinary, besides the strange dreams he is having of late. When he realizes that the dreams are instructions, telling him what to do, he sets out, unable to ignore them any longer. He soon encounters a large man covered in fur, who threatens to kill him if he doesn't return to his uneventful life. Adam outwits the creature, who calls himself Beast-Man and escapes, returning to his quest. Why was this man after Adam? What Adam does not know is a secret that Beast-Man's master Skeletor will do anything to keep. He is no ordinary wood-cutter. And if he fails in his quest to reclaim his lost identity, an identity endowed unto him by a Sorceress, all hope is lost in Eternia.
