He is also known for his editing the book : 3000 Solved Problems in Physics. Professor Chattopadhyay completed his PhD in statistical physics and fluid mechanics from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Sciences. His areas of research include Mathematical Biology, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology, Financial Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics and Statistical Physics.
