The book deals with all aspects of history of China in detail. In this book The events have been recorded in chronological order. In other words The events have been given from the rise of the manchus to the period of post Mao China (1976-1985). in this book The history of China is traced in a simple and lucid manner so as to fulfil the requirements of the students and the common readers. The part played by the leaders like Dr. Sun yat-sen, Yuan shih-kai, chiang Kai shed and Mao Tse tung in the history of China has been suitably explained so as to arouse the interest of the readers. The book also deals with the role of reformers in shaping the history of the China in the intervening chapters.
