Then there is an additional waterproof TPU coating making your mat completely leak proof. And then again 80gsm polyester fabric at the bottom. For added functionality we have provided pockets on both. Backrest cover can be also secured with an adjustable elastic belt that comes with the product. Important Wash Instructions - Though it can be easily washed, yet we recommend to wash only when really required. Any spills/stains can be easily cleaned with a damp sponge or cloth. We have treated the top layer with water repellent spray but it goes away with multiple washes. However, the product still will remain waterproof due to the TPU coating inside and will prevent all kinds of spills from reaching your sofa.
