Summary of the Book Ig was an extremely privileged man who lived a very blessed and happy life. As the son of a famous American musician and the brother of a TV star, Ignatius Perrish had all the security and wealth he needed. The best part of his life was the beautiful Merrin. However, all of this happiness was snatched away from him when Merrin was raped and murdered. Things fell apart and Ig had no control over himself anymore. He got really drunk one night and woke up the next day with a splitting headache and a pair of horns. He also noticed that he had a unique power of finding out the deepest and deadliest desires of people when he touched them. He decides to use this power to take revenge on Merrin’s murderer.
