He has written Management: Leading People And Organizations In The 21st Century, Essentials Of Human Resource Management, Fundamentals Of Human Resource Management: Content, Competencies And Applications, and Essentials Of Management. He is also a regular columnist for the Miami Herald. Dessler completed his BSc from New York University and his Masters from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He followed this up with a doctorate in Business Administration from City University of New York’s Bernard M. Baruch School of Business. Dessler is presently a Professor at the College of Business Administration in Miami. He also works as a consultant for projects based on HRM systems, recruitment, and negotiations between multinational companies. Biju Varkkey is a writer and instructor. Varkkey has written articles for various journals and has presented numerous publications in conferences. He completed his Masters in Human Resource Management from MG University. Varkkey has taught at the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow. He has also worked as a professor of Personnel and Industrial Relations at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
