This book discusses the growing importance of “Human Resource Management”. Since the importance of Humanre resource management is being increasingly realised in industrial and non industrial sector in India. This realisation has come about because of increasing complexity of the task of manager and administrators in most of th e organisations the problem of getting the competent and relevant persons, retaining them, keeping up their motivation and morale , and helping them to both continuously grow and contribute their best to the organisation, are now viewed as the most critical problems. Also with the passage of time “Human Resource Management” is increasely getting integrated with strategic management at corporate level. At corporate sector Human Resource Management and development has assumed great importance. Human Resource Management has become a driving force in success of an enterprise. The present work, it is hoped, will prove beneficial not only to student of Human Resource Management and business administration and other professional and technical institute and universities but also at executive levels. Further this book deals with deals with core concept of Human Resource Management which include meaning and function of management, employment and development of human resource, job evaluation technique, core of the science of Human Resource Management, problem of industrial sector and industrial disputes. Chakshu Pathak, holds a Ph.D from University Department of Commerce and Business Management, Ranchi University, Ranchi and has studied Master's Degree in Commerce with specialisation in Human Resource Management from St. Xavier College, Ranchi. He is a visiting faculty to the Constituent College under Ranchi University as Guest Faculty and has also been a part of Ranchi Chapter of Cost Accountants of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India as Guest faculty in Foundation Level.
