Women are considered as the embodiment of tolerance and virtue. From managing households to excelling in every sphere of life, women proved their capabilities and strength. A series of international and national instruments aim to protect women’s rights and to ensure equal opportunity to rise in every walk of life. Yet they are victimized by gender disparity, violence, exploitation at workplace acid attack, cybercrime. The book is a reflection of contemporary challenges being faced by women in present-day society.
