I Accuse… The Anti-Sikh Violence of 1984, by Jarnail Singh, is a commanding and passionate indictment of the state’s response to the massacre of 1984. Summary of the Book More than 3000 Sikhs were slaughtered in three days of 1984! To the present day, thousands of people are living in the darkness of despair and resentment. Jarnail Singh, in I Accuse… The Anti-Sikh Violence of 1984, asks why so little has been done to address all those issues that still prevail as sources of agony of an entire community. He examines the chain of events and the tales of the survivors whose lives are still haunted by the shadows of the slaughter. He seeks clear answers to several relevant questions concerning the killings, and asserts that it was not just an attack on one community, but was an attack on the faith of democracy. The book has a powerful foreword written by Khushwant Singh. About Jarnail Singh Jarnail Singh is an Indian journalist and author. He was born in 1973 in Delhi.
