‘I Don’t Need Reasons. I Need You!’ is a story of two college students of IIT Bombay, Ekansh and Shalini. Ekansh is extremely career conscious and doesn’t believe in love. He is only interested in flings and hook-ups. Whereas, Shalini believes in true love and the concept of ‘The One’. She also believes that she has her ‘The One’, studying in IIT Delhi, who is her boyfriend. These two different people with two different ideologies meet in IIT Bombay. What will happen next? Will Ekansh fall in love with Shalini? Or will Ekansh have a fling with Shalini? Will Shalini let Ekansh enter in her life? Or will Shalini know his intentions before it’s too late? Will Shalini fall for Ekansh even though she already has a boyfriend? Or Will Shalini break Ekansh’s heart? Or will they just be ‘friends with benefits’ until they are in IIT and move on after graduation? This novel is a beautiful blend of friendship, fling, love, heartbreak and betrayal.
