Since the author was a young girl, she went through experiences in life that made her feel very alone. Then she realized that others go through similar things, and that gave her solace. Today, she compiles this anthology as a reminder that life is for living, but it always helps when you know someone has been through a similar experience, and they got out of it OK - which makes you feel a little less alone.
