The concept of Over The Top platforms and its relation with youths provides access to diverse contents, culture andfurther shapes entertainment consumption and behaviours. This book focuses on the impact of OTT streaming serviceson the entertainment preferences, behavioural patterns, mental health, educational aspects and cultural perceptions oftoday’s digitalized youths. One of the objectives of this study is to examine how these platforms impact the dailyinteractions of youths. The study has taken an effort to explore Manuel Castells’ theory of “Network Society”. A thoroughreview of literature and first-hand data from fieldwork has been served as the conceptual foundation for the book. Thebook may be relevant and helpful to researchers, policy planners/regulators and most importantly parents and studentsas the study tries to view the adverse effects of OTT platforms from the perspective of digitalized generation.
