He has served as the Professor and Head of the university’s Political Science department, and as the Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences. He has also served as the Director of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. Himanshu Roy is an Associate Professor of Political Science. He has served as an Associate Editor, apart from his contributions to the book, Indian Political Thought: Themes And Thinkers. Roy works at DDU College, Delhi University.
