Dr. P. Prince Dhanaraj (b. 1958) M.A. M. Phil. Economics, Ph. D. Economics, M.Ed. M.Phil. Education, Ph. D. Educations, M.B.A. PGDPM & IR, P.G.D.C.A. Reader and Head, Department of Economics, C.P.A. College, Bodinayakanur, Theni District, Tamilnadu-625582, has had 15 years of teaching Experience in Economics at the Collegiate level. He has been teaching post-Graduate students of Economics, Education and Management through Distance Education. He has also published a number of research articles in the reputed journals at the National Level. He is an associate in the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla. To his credit, he has completed minor and major research projects in Economics, funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.The Present book is primarily meant for the post-graduate students and researchers of Economics, Management and Labour Studies at the University Level. It is a Comprehensive one that deals with the crucial issues of Industrial Labour, Wage Economics, Managerial aspects, social and legal aspects of the giant, century old cotton Textile Mills industry in south India. This book is based on the author's doctoral theses which was awarded the doctorate degree in Economics by the Madurai Kamaraj University in 1988.
