When the mightiest heroes of Earth turn out to be its greatest foes, who would you turn to in your darkest hour? Rated 16 by PEGI, Injustice: Gods Among Us (Ultimate Edition) is a phenomenal PC fighting game that shows most of the heroes and villains of the DC Universe battling it out for glory and survival. Superman, the person everyone knows as the epitome of righteousness has turned insidious after the horrific death of his wife, Lois Lane, at the hands of the maniac Joker. Unable to protect what he loved the most, he turns into a dictator who wishes to control the world in order to make it peaceful by depriving people of their free will. This single-player action game also has a multiplayer mode that can be enjoyed online. The shift to next-gen technology and spectacular in-fight graphics give this game unbelievably crisp visuals. Raw, high-impact hits that look as savage as they sound further enhance the gaming experience. The standard direction-based blocking has been replaced by the button block feature that makes exciting cross-ups very possible. Two additional new systems that make this game unique to its ancestors are the character-power system, that gives each character distinct mechanics that are based on their special ability, and the interactive environments, that let you fling heavy objects that lie ample in your surroundings at your opponent. If you use certain attacks at particular spots it will trigger a stage change that sees your enemy flying uncontrollably past a series of obstacles. Loads of costumes, music and art to unlock, a new challenge tower (STAR Labs) that offers countless battles that have to be performed under differing conditions, battle ladders, varying difficulty levels, a bodacious story mode, an extraordinary training mode and online lobbies where you can even bet your experience, collectively make this one magnificent game and a must-have for comic book addicts and gamers alike.
