In the great trinity of BRAHMA-VISHNU-MAHESHWARA, BRAHAMA is creativity force; VISHNU is glory and magnificence and SHIVA (MAHESHWARA) is austerity and renunciation. But how can God renounce anything when everything is embodied in him? How is Bhagwan, who is endowed with 'BHAGA' or glories of six fold nature, also be embodiment of vairagya (Dispassion), he cannot. He does not renounce or abandon any object share a part of his cosmic body. It is the state of freedom from consciousness of externality, which Lord SHIVA represents and called vairagya.
