Presented here is a compilation of current techniques and ideas in inorganic synthetic chemistry. It includes inorganic polymer syntheses and preparation of inorganic ring systems, syntheses used in the development of pharmacologically active inorganic compounds, and small-molecule coordination complexes and related compounds. The volume also contains a section on transition organometallic compounds, including species with metal-metal bonds and cluster molecules. All syntheses given here have been tested.
