This book examines the emergence and working of multiple Institutions in the distribution of Irrigation in the command area of the first major surface irrigation project in Kerala--Chalakkudy River Diversion Scheme (CRDS). About the Author Dr Neetha N is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Women's Development Studies (CWDS), New Delhi. She holds a Ph.D. (Economics) from Centre for Development Studies/Jawaharlal Nehru University. She is a recipient of IWMI-Ford Foundation Fellowship for South Asian Women Doctoral Scholasrs. Prior to her joining CWDS, Dr. Neetha was Associate Fellow and Coordinator, Centre for Gender and Labour at the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, NOIDA. She has many years of research experience in the fields of irrigation institutions, labour and gender studies and has several research papers published in reputed journals and books.
