Intelligence: The Creative Response To Now By Osho examines the difference between intelligence and intellect and how intelligence contributes to a better understanding of everything around us. Summary Of The Book In his book, Osho explores the difference between intellect and intelligence. According to him, it is intelligence that helps readers react creatively to the different problems that they come across in their lives. He stresses on the importance of promoting intelligence to train the intellect. He advises people to approach the problems from an emotional, logical and practical point of view. Intellect, according Osho is logical, whereas intelligence is paradoxical. Intellect requires us to pull things apart, whereas intelligence pieces the things together and views it as a whole. The book focuses on how our attitudes and belief systems discourage us from being our true selves. Intelligence: The Creative Response To Now also encourages us to live in the present rather than dwelling on the past or future. Like children and animals, our problems can be solved better if we focus on the present. The book shows us the different ways in which we can unleash our creative thinking and powers. He also discusses how it is important to confront our problems rather than avoiding them. Confronting our problems can give us true power and insight. The book is a simple guide that helps readers rediscover, understand and use their intelligence and thinking powers. Intelligence: The Creative Response To Now was first published in 2004.
