The book is a latest and informative addition to the literature on South Asia with the ministrations of the great powers such as United States, with the focus being upon the notion of internal security in the region. The internal security scenario in each of the nations in South Asia has been zeroed in upon with the emphasis being on the question of ethnicity, race, regional and cross border terrorism, the scourge of parallel economies, the threat of Naxalism, the gradual talibanisation of the region, along with the refugee and drug laundering. The underlying message is that if a nation has to prosper and attain power and status in the international firmament then it ought to learn the art of keeping the house in order. About The Author: Manan Dwivedi is a PhD from the School of International Studies, American Studies Division, Jawaharlal Nehru University on United States Media's Potrayal of Persian Gulf War I and II. He has several publications to his credit in the esteemed journals like Indian Journal of Asian Affairs, Indian Police Journal, Diaspora Studies, Indian Journal of Public Administration and Indian Bar Review. He was an Assistant Professor in the Gujarat National Law University in the discipline of International Relations for a period of five years.
