Today international law refers to those rules and norms which regulate the conduct of states and other entities which at any time are recognized as being endowed with international personality, for example international organizations and individual in their relations with each other. Rules and norms of any legal system derive authority from their source. Actually the source expressly articulates what the law is and where it can be found. It very easy to get the sources in case of municipal laws, for example legislation passed by the Parliament and the judgement of the judiciary, but in case of international law these two factors are absent. More so, there is no codified or written constitution in case of international law. Actually the sources of international law are not clear and easily available. At present, international instruments are the most important source of international law. The various international instruments such as, conventions, treaties, covenant, resolution of various international and regional bodies, for example, UNO, European Union, African and American Union etc, pertaining to international terrorism are beautifully placed and explained in this book. Now the main two problems relating to terrorism are – jurisdictional problem and extradition. In the present book these two issues along with the series of international instruments of different international and regional bodies are mentioned. Besides this, role of International Court of Justice, International Criminal Court and International Law Commission on terrorism are also discussed in this book.
