InterWorld tells the story of Joey Harker who teams up with alternate-universe versions of himself to try and stop the forces of magic and science from taking over all of the Earths across the multiverse. It is a science fiction and fantasy book written by Neil Gaiman and Michael Reeves. Summary of the Book Joey Harper’s world is torn apart when he discovers that his world is only one of a trillion possible alternate universes. Some of these alternate worlds are governed by the powers of Science, others are ruled by magic. Joey joins forces with alternate versions of him from across the parallel universes to battle the evil rulers of these worlds, the evil magicians Lord Dogknife and Lady Indigo. If they fail, the subtle balance between the parallel worlds will be upset once and for all. About the Authors Neil Richard MacKinnon Gaiman is an English writer known for his novels, short stories and comic books. He has also written screenplays, and audio theatre pieces. Gaiman is an acclaimed writer, known for American Gods, The Graveyard Book, Coraline, The Ocean at the End of the Lane and Stardust. James Michael Reaves is an American writer known as the screenwriter of Disney's Gargoyles and Batman: The Animated Series. He won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program in his work on Batman: The Animated Series. He has also co-written Dragonworld.
