Dan Cryan, Sharron Shatil and Bill Mayblin’s Introducing Logic: A graphic Guide is an excellent book that delves into the historical progress of logic. Summary of the Book Introducing Logic asserts that western civilization was mostly based on logic, which held science, philosophy and law together. This remains a less contemplated thought as most of the literary works on these lines use complex mathematical symbolism and technical jargons. This book, on the other hand, explains the symbols and practices adopted in the development of logic. It also addresses the philosophical implications that surround the subject, along with the effects of logic on sciences such as psychology, digital technology, physics, and allied fields. About the Authors Dan Cryan is the Research Director of Digital Media at HIS. He leads a global team that oversees models and predicts the course of digital media business. He completed his B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy at the University College in London. Sharron Shatil is associated with the Open University in Israel as a Philosophy lecturer. Bill Mayblin is associated with the London Design Practice, the information design workshop, as a senior partner.
