Guttag John Vogel Guttag is a computer scientist, professor and former Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at MIT. He has received his bachelor’s degree in English from Brown University in the year 1971, and got a Master’s from the same university in Applied Mathematics. He later got a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
