A collection of poems and musings from the everyday life of a girl who inherently believes that poetry is her safe place. A place where it’s always sunny and warm. This is about a girl who’s resilient in the face of cold adversity but also has anxious hiccups on sipping her watered-down Vietnamese cold brew during languid summer afternoons. It’s about her days when she’s happy and buoyant, almost making the universe twirl in the wraps of her skirt and also about days when her pillow is wet with stories she never told anyone.
