This volume narrates with rare illustrations, many being published for the first time, how the story of India's spiritual and cultural legacy is traceable to the grandeur of ancient Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Presented in seven chronological and thematic sections, it unfolds a fascinating story from the earliest times to the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India-a period of over 3000 years.
