This oil lighter comes without fuel. So, it will not be ignited on receipt. You have to fill the lighter with oil fluid/ Zippo fuel to ignite this. This lighter is highly efficient in extremely cold weather. To fill the lighter follow the provided images and given steps:-Step1: Pull out the inside unit from case. Step 2: Turn the cotton pad over and lift it up with the help of any needle nose or tool. Step 3: Slowly add the fuel by squeezing the lighter fuel can to the cottons available in the inside unit. Do not overfill the lighter. Now close the cotton pad gently on its normal position and insert the inside unit into the case.Step 4: Now strike the flip wheel in an upward (opposite) direction a couple of times, then roll it downwards and here it goes, your lighter is ready for use.
