Made from the juice of organically cultivated sugarcane. Prepared in a traditional way and in a cottage scale near the farms, by the farmers who also make jaggery. The process is completely free of chemicals and uses conventional crystallisation. As it is not refined, it also has a characteristic brown colour when mixed with water.
