The ayurvedic characteristic of Netraprabha Plus is as follows- Guna - Laghu, Ruksh Rasa - Madhur, Kashay Veerya - anushna sheet Vipaak - Madhur Madhur vipaak acts against Vaat; Laghu and Ruksh Guna act against Kapha whereas Madhur and Kashy ras act against Pitta. Hence, Netraprabha Plus works to balance all three doshas. Honey considered “Chakshushya”-good for eyes, by Ayurveda, provides necessary nutrition to the eye tissue i.e. glucose and vitamins. Honey has antibacterial effect and can be used to prevent corneal scarring caused by infection. Healing of bacterial corneal wound has been reported by honey. Honey can also probably be effective in improving the scars after infections. The anti-inflammatory effect of honey has caused it to be used in the treatment of blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid margins) and keratitis (corneal inflammation).
