These are red grooved slate pencils . These are like attached slate pencils . These break into slate pencils when pressure is applied. The pictures show photos with and without flash to capture correct color. They can look more darker or lighter in person. Slate pencils are soft. Even after we try to pack them carefully, these come often broken. Slate Pencils take the smell of box they are packed in , please air dry them. To air dry them place the slate pencils in wooden or plastic box and leave them open. Sprinkling water and air drying also helps them to remove the box smell quickly.
