Made with heavy-duty cast iron this tawa is sturdy and long-lasting. Care should be taken to use only heat-resistant silicone, plastic or wooden spoon /spatula for cooking. Metal spoon/spatula should be avoided. The heat retaining properties of cast iron helps to keep the food warm and distributes the heat evenly .
