Upanishad means sitting close with a willingness to learn. Upanishads are treasured dialogues on life between master and disciple dated thousands of years back. There are nearly 1100 Upanishads, out of which Kena Upanishad (One of the important and major ones) highlights the source of life for readers. Along with that, it also explains the purpose of life for a human being and tries to answer the complicated questions posed by readers who are curious to learn about the in-depth issues pertaining to human life and its purpose. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has tried to break down the teachings from the Kena Upanishad into easy to understand and follow units to enable the readers to fully absorb the content.
