Soil-Amend poor soils with well-rotted manure or compost. Cucumber beit alpha will grow best on fertile well-draining soil. Watering-Keep the planted cucumber well watered since they require soil moisture to produce flavoursome fruits.Sow cucumber seeds at a depth of ½ inches after the last frost of spring. Plant seeds in a site that receives 5-7 hours of sunlight every day. Seedlings will appear in 7 to 10 days in ideal growing conditions. Thin to the healthiest seedlings after germination. Provide added support when growing cucumber vertically.
