Absolutely breathtaking in style, silhouette and comfort, I hardly feel the need to treat it like a trench coat anymore or public wear for that matter. As opposed to the common misconception that you need to shed the layers to look trendy, modest dressing promotes loving your body and protecting it not alone from unnecessary attention but the environment too for eg. sunburns etc. The whole concept of adapting to wearing an abaya is a conscious choice an individual makes and how they wish to be perceived. In a crux, confidently covered in complete understanding of their choices as a way of life and not just a notion representing a certain religion. A lot of women have adopted the culture of modest dressing as a way of life. An abaya simply fits as an outfit to support that choice and not as standout or stand alone garment. Abaya or modest clothing is no longer about boring and has built its niche in the mainstream fashion. A simple question- Isn’t making yards of clothing material fashionably beautiful more difficult than a patch of it. What goes into making an abaya just right for the modern modest as well as the traditional modest is that all of them wish to look good. Every woman is beautiful and as a fashion contributor our job is to personify any look or style they wish to follow and make them know how beautiful they are just as they are.
