Dr. Prem Singh Jina has made very significant contribution to Ladakh Studies. His publication include some twentyone books and over one hundred papers. Some of these, specially those on pasture ecology, ecotourism, culturetourism, and Monastic studies have earned international recognition. He has presented 21 papers in the International Conferences and 71 papers in the National Conferences. His famous books are High Pastureland of Ladakh (1995), Tourism in Ladakh Himalaya (1994), Ladakh: The Land and the People (1996), Lamauru Monastery of Ladakh Himalaya (1999), Ladakh: Past and Present (2000), Ladakh Profile (2005) and Ladakh Himalaya: Past and preset (2006).
