This is the illustrated, hardcover Ladybird Classic edition of Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift. It is the story of Lemuel Gulliver, who takes to the seas when his business fails. Summary of the Book Gulliver’s Travels is one of the most loved stories ever written. Gulliver sets out on different journeys, each of which begins with a shipwreck and ends in either a brave escape or him realizing that it was time to leave from where he was. The humour of the novel conceals the parody of the travellers' tales by bringing out the subtleties of human nature.
