Learning is a life-long process, and it is more exciting when you are a student! The book Lessons in Behavioral Finance from Day-to-day Investors is a product of this amazing learning process. The output is a result of an assignment for an Open Elective we were teaching to the enthusiastic first-year students of BSc Data Science and BSc Economics Analytics at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus from January to April 2023. For their assignment in Introduction to Behavioral Finance course, students were asked to conduct interviews with people who invest on a day-to-day basis by preparing questions to assess the behavior of these investors, specifically in reference to decision-making. The students' reports of the assignment were a testament to the work that they had put in and the lessons they learned. These reports highlighted the real-time experiences of investors. So we decided to compile and edit these assignments into chapters for a book! We hope the readers will get many insights and learn the various aspects of day-to-day investing.
