Life or Death is a psychological thriller novel by Michael Robotham. Summary of the Book Audie Palmer has a secret which everyone in his prison wants to know. He was involved in an armed robbery where four people died. Two of the deceased were part of his gang. The money, five million in all, was never recovered. Audie knows where the money is, but no matter what people do to him, he isn’t ready to talk. The day before he’s due to be released, Audie vanishes. Everyone assumes he’s on the run, but Audie is out to save a life, and this time, it’s someone else’s. About Michael Robotham Michael Robotham is an Australian writer known for his crime fiction novels. He has also written The Suspect, Lost, The Night Ferry and Shatter. Robotham won the Best Novel Ned Kelly Awards for Crime Writing in 2005 and 2008. He was also awarded the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for Best Thriller by the Crime Writers' Association (UK).
