About Laxmi Subramani Laxminarayan Subramani is an Indian writer and journalist. He is the current Senior Sub-Editor with Deccan Herald in Bangalore. Diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at the age of 18, he lost his vision over a period of two years, the most severe reduction focusing over a six month period. A part of the proceeds of this book has been pledged towards helping Mr. Subramani's initiative of a support system for similarly affected patients. The initiative involves similar patients and social workers devoted to improving the lives of all visually challenged people.
