Literary Treasures is a skill based course in Communicative English for Classes (1-8). It is part of a package which includes a Main Coursebook, Literature Reader, Workbook and a Teacher's Manual. The Workbook recognises the underlying goals and principles to provide communicative competence and examine how to use language for a range of different purposes and functions. Salient Features (1-5) are: 1. The Workbook is a diagnostic tool as well as a curriculum for English language learners. 2. The content of the series complies with the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern. 3. It covers themes that will be of interest to students and are relevant to Indian context. 4.
