Sambar Cucumber seeds Indian Cucumber, Lemon Cucumber, Sambar Cucumber, Yellow Indian Cucumber. vellarikkai , Dosakai, Mangalore Cucumber. These cucumbers are larger oblong or oval shaped and is usually cooked. The fruit develops orange stripes while ripen. The colour of fruit inside is white. These cucumbers are sweeter and tangy than normal green cucumbers. Rich in water and fiber. Conatains minerals like calcium,magnesium,potassium, vitamin A,C and B6. eed Treatment – Dip the seeds in the solution of Hasiru Panchagavya(1 L Panchagavya mixed with 30 – 35 L water) for 15 minutes and lay the seeds on a plastic sheet for drying. Once the seeds are dried the seeds can be subsequently planted. How to plant – Plant the treated seeds in a small container filled with Hasiru Potting Mix to about ½ to 1 inch depth and sprinkle water cautiously. Once the seeds germinate and the saplings are about 6 to 8 inches tall, plant the saplings in the desired area. These plants require good support system / Trellis. Germination Time – 6 to 8 days from Sowing Watering – Plants should be watered daily preferably during early mornings which accelerate the process of photosynthesis resulting in faster growth. Manure – Apply Hasiru Garden Manure / Neem based manure thrice a year When to plant – All year round Prevention of Diseases and Pest infestation – Spray Hasiru Panchagavya / Hasiru Amrutha Paani once in 3 months. Harvest – 70 to 90 days
