The area of lymphocyte research has undergone rapid expansion over the last few years. Lymphocyte signalling research has expanded such that knowledge in the area has been virtually doubled. This title provides an overview of lymphocyte signalling and encompasses not only what constitutes normal behavioural patterns of lymphocytes but also how subversion of signalling leads to immune dysfunction. Areas where therapeutic intervention may be useful are examined and ideas are formulated for future research.
