There is a great need for physical and mental purification in this sadhana, therefore, after taking bath in the morning or at night, sit on a red woolen mat spread mainly in the west or north direction and before starting the sadhana, ensure that there is no distraction of any kind in between. To avoid this, complete all the necessary work beforehand and if possible, keep the Sadhana place (room) closed from inside.After taking a seat on Asana, after sanctifying the body and seat, spread a red cloth on a stool in front of you and place any idol or picture of any goddess on it, even if it is not just a symbolic picture, then only a ghee lamp can do the job. . After lighting the lamp, start the meditation as per the mantra given below.
