Litchi (Lychee) is a monotypic taxon and the sole member in the genus Litchi in the soapberry family, Sapindaceae. lychee, (Litchi chinensis), also spelled litchi or lichi, evergreen tree of the soapberry family (Sapindaceae), grown for its edible fruit. The litchi fruits are round, oval or heart-shaped, with a fleshy interior. The hard outer skin of this fruit is green when immature and turns. Lychee (Litchi chinensis) is a seasonal fruit widely cultivated in many countries. High nutritional value, attractive colour and delicious taste. A tall evergreen tree, the lychee bears small fleshy fruits. The outside of the fruit is pink-red, roughly textured, and inedible, covering sweet flesh. They tend to grow best when they are planted in average, moist and well-drained soil, will tolerate sandy soil, loamy soil, clay soil and moist soil. Now open the seed packet on a white sheet of paper as while opening the seeds might fall, which are not visible to naked eyes. After preparing the soil, insert the seeds into the prepared to half (0.5) inch of depth. Spraying the water timely the seedlings will be ready for transplanting. Add urea to the soil for removal of insects and make soil clean and fresh for Home garden and also mix soil with coco peat and Vermi compost for better result in growing plant. DO's: Put seeds 0.5 inch depth inside the soil and add water or spray slowly and timely such that seeds does not come out the soil. can be use all Season, If you using Vermi Composit and Coco peat then result are Good. Dont's: Seeds not to keep more than 1 inch inside the soil. Note: If sowing seeds indoors, transplant the seedlings to the sunny garden spot when they are several inches tall. Happy Gardening..!!
