The 12th edition of the directory of 8,000 of Europe's largest companies should be useful for firms weishing to do business in Europe and in particular to identify additional European customers, trading partners, joint venture prospects of acquisitions to take advantage of the Single European Market in 1992. Published as a three-volume set, this reference work provides information on major companies in every country of western Europe, as follows: name, address, phone, fax, telex; name of chairman, president and each board member; names of senior management; principal activities of the company; principal brand names and trademarks; principal subsidiaries and associated companies; number of employees; financial information for past two years; principal shareholders. Three indexes list all major European companies; then companies per country, then companies by business catagory within each country.
