Through his work, Autobiography of a Yogi, westerners were familiarized with the teachings of Kriya Yoga and meditation. Some of his other famous books are: The Law of Success, Whispers from Eternity, and Where There is Light. Yogananda attained mahasamadhi on March 7th, 1952.
