Handcrafted brass Kuthuvilakku, a traditional lamp from South India. The lamp has a circular base, with a slender stem that has a circular five wick lamp. The lamp is topped with a beautiful Annapakshi, a mythical bird which symbolises purity. The lamp is plated with pure 24 Kt Gold, which is coated with a lacquer that protects it even when lit daily. The lamp is traditionally gifted to new brides by their mothers as an auspicious keepsake to take to her new home. Place the lamp in the Puja room and light it twice a day at dawn and dusk to invite Lakshmi into your homes for prosperity and peace.
