It is complete in that it contains all the vitalities of the trasured mythologies of the Greeks, the Romans, the Indians, the Norse, the old Germans and the Egyptians, down the ages. In this revised and thoroughly re-written account by the celebrated scholar of Greek, Roman and Indian antiquities at the British museun in the latter half of the nineteenth century, images, legends and myths have been portrayed through no less than 45 plates that retain their value even to this day. Studies of Mythologies of different cultures are many, treating the various civilizations in their own perspectives. But and account of the entire literature on mythologies of the east and west, that could be consulted by every serious student of mythologies or any of their aspects.
