Marathi becomes an unpleasant reminder of history in the present, which is overwhelmed by the speed of the market. It may certainly annoy our lazy lives. However, this novel performs the function of 'historicizing again and again' without any mixture. It can undoubtedly be said that 'Marathi' is one step ahead of any other novel in performing the historical function of stopping the present at a specific point and sending it away with the signature of history."
