Construction materials are an important subject for civil engineering students. Covering the basics of construction materials, this book is divided in seven chapters: Stones, Timber, Bricks, Clay Products, Ferrous Metals, Non-ferrous Metals, and Alloys. The end of each chapter includes a summary, a set of fill-in-the-blanks questions and descriptive questions. Multiple choice questions with answers are provided at the end of the book. Three model question papers are also given.
